ABOUT ME

I am a fully qualified Adlerian psychotherapist. I currently hold a Diploma and Certificate in the theory and practice of Individual Psychology and Adlerian counselling and I am a registered member of the BACP.

I am experienced in short term and long term work. I have substantial experience in working with people from all backgrounds and with differing issues.

I attend regular supervision; this enables me to reflect on and develop my counselling skills and to ensure that I continue to work within the BACP Ethical Framework.

I work within the BACP guidelines.  I possess professional indemnity insurance and undertake regular professional development.  For psychotherapy to be effective trust is an important part of the therapeutic process and all information disclosed is treated as confidential whether in person, by phone or email.

How I work

I use the Adlerian approach to psychotherapy as well as using an integrative approach.  This is a combined approach to psychotherapy that brings together different elements of specific therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural therapy and Somatic therapy.

I offer sessions to individuals.

I offer both short term and long term psychotherapy. Sessions are 50 minutes. Appointments are available during the daytime as well as evenings.

If you need to cancel an appointment you may do so without charge within 48hrs notice. Any later cancellations will be charged at 100% of the session fee.
